在现代东京，有一家专业从事于灵异事务的侦探社。这就是幽幻怪社。当接到案子后，社长如月妖华就召集拥有异能的手下前去解决问题。本片的女英雄，如月妖华，乍眼看上去身段优美，但她有低血压，嗜酒，还对钱有特别的执念。
在日本警暑U部门，即专门处理灵异事件调查的中年侦探Karino Kouzou是如月妖华的搭档。但他却并不怎么信任女主人公的能力。
幽幻怪社的雇员们，除了11岁的mamoru外，都是一些奇特的人，均存在各种各样的问题，他们能够胜任驱鬼的任务吗？
美女+鬼怪+笑料式的作品，类似与〈GS美神〉，动画的画面质量不错，OP的一段歌曲很有意思，是一段演歌+劲歌，歌词让人喷饭，是部令人感到轻松的作品。
从演歌混合着劲歌这个有趣的OP来看，注定了这是一个风格带着搞笑的动画，虽然有灵异事件发生，但是，不管什么幽灵鬼怪遇到了如月妖华这个“幽幻怪社”的大姐头社长，也要退避三分。

真夜中之侦探，讲述的还是关于吸血鬼这个永恒的话题：在百鬼夜行的东京，只有身为吸血鬼的紫藤可以与之对抗。成立侦探社，以侦探之名掩饰身份，与人类共存的紫藤，在同伴布利德出现之后，不堪的往事被慢慢重提……
