鑑識課警察犬係に所属する警察官で、この物語の主人公である青葉一平（池松壮亮）と、彼の相棒である警察犬オリバーが次々と発生する不可解な事件に挑んでいくのだが、様々な思惑が入り乱れ・・・。

本剧是《重启人生》的衍生剧，讲述的是原作中没有描写但又发生过的各种事，其中将会出现很多与原作紧密相关的点，还有剧迷们关注的“加藤的粉雪”和珍贵花絮。

The story centers on the life of 19th-century Japanese historical figures Iwasaki Yatarō and Sakamoto Ryōma. It has been announced that the series will be aired in several other countries, for example Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

"A world" — After graduating from a university, close friends Takashi Tsurug and Tomohiko Miwa begin work at a company which does brain research.
