在都市的小孩子中，有着这样一个传言：只要在深夜0点的时候与“地狱通信”取得联系，将无法发泄的怨恨写下来，地狱少女就会出现，她将为你把怨恨的人打入地狱。
然而让人意想不到的是，这个传言竟然是真实的。写给地狱通信的信件都会传达给一名叫做阎魔爱的少女，当她与信件中的怨恨感情产生共鸣的时候，她就会变身成为地狱少女。
但是，若要实现愿望就要与她缔结契约的事，却没有在传说中提及到。
“人的诅咒会打开两个通道。一个是把对手送往地狱的，而你的灵魂在死后也会往地狱同行。即使这样也无所谓吗？”
《地狱少女》（日文《じごくしょうじょ》）是日本动画、漫画及电视剧。动画于2005年10月开始播出，全26集，具有神秘恐怖风格。其漫画则同时在讲谈社月刊《Nakayoshi（なかよし）》上连载，作者为永远幸。2006年10月7日起，在每日放送、Animax 以及东京MX电视台等播映第二季动画，名为《地狱少女二笼》，全26集，2007年4月7日完结。此外在2006年11月4日，在日本电视台播映真人出演的电视剧版本，在2006年11月4日至2007年1 月27日于日本电视台及静冈第一电视台的“黄金之舌”时段内播放，全12集。2007年12月28日发表决定制作第三季动画，标题继承了【二笼】的诡异风格被命为《地狱少女 三鼎》。

The war between Euro Britannia and the European Union continues. New orders are given to the W-0 Unit. To land in the middle of the enemy territory as a diversion. Heat Guy J is a 26 episode science fiction anime series created by Escaflowne director Kazuki Akane and Satelight.

Heat Guy J was licensed and distributed in the U.S. in 2003 by Pioneer. It was re-released by Funimation Entertainment in the fall of 2009. The first 13 episodes of the show also was broadcast on the cable channel MTV2. A one volume manga was created based on the series, and was licensed and distributed by TOKYOPOP. The show was picked up for a UK DVD release by Manga Entertainment starting in March 2006. It was packaged in double DVD sets to make up for the long delayed release of the series.

Atsushi Nakajima was kicked out of his orphanage, and now he has no place to go and no food. That man is Osamu Dazai, and he and his partner Kunikida are members of a very special detective agency.
