Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière’s name is so long and her spell-casting skills are so poor that everyone at the Tristain Academy of Magic just calls her “Louise the Zero.” Louise’s humiliation only increases during an important second-year test, she inexplicably summons Saito Hiraga, a totally normal teenager from Tokyo. Now she’s stuck with him and Saito’s stuck with the lousy life of being a familiar.

Kasugano Haruka and his sister Sora have lost both their parents in an accident, and with them all their support. Love, Elections & Chocolate, is a Japanese adult visual novel developed by Sprite, and it was released in Japan on October 29, 2010 for Windows PCs. The gameplay in Love, Elections & Chocolate follows a branching plot line, which offers pre-determined scenarios with courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the five female main characters by the player character. There have been two manga adaptations based on the game: one each serialized in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine and Dengeki Daioh. A 12-episode anime TV series adaptation produced by AIC Build and directed by Tōru Kitahata aired between July and September 2012. An additional episode was released on the series' final Blu-ray Disc and DVD volume in March 2013.

Esta secuela es una continuación de la temporada anterior (Zero no Tsukaima), no mucho después de la guerra. Louise y Saito aparentemente se llevan bien ya que ella sabe que él había renunciado a su única oportunidad de regresar a Tokio por ella. La historia continúa cuando Louise comienza a usar Void Magic de un misterioso libro secreto que había recibido de su majestad Henrietta, mientras que un nuevo villano apareció en la ciudad causando problemas.

L'histoire recommence avec nos deux héros, Louise et Saito. Après avoir été interrompue par Siesta, Louise remarque que la rune sur la main de Saito est en train de disparaître pour une raison qu'ils ignorent, ce qui signifie qu'il n'est plus le familier de Louise, donc libre, mais surtout que le pouvoir du Gandalf qui la protégeait a lui aussi disparu. Le lendemain, ils sont tous deux immédiatement convoqués chez la princesse, mais sur le chemin, pendant une pause, Louise va dans la forêt seule et se fait attaquer…

Sur invitation de la reine, Saito, Louise et Tiffania (plus quelques camarades) sont invités au royaume de Romalia, allié de Tristain lors du précédent conflit. Dès leur arrivée, ils sont conduit auprès du pape, qui se révèle être un autre manipulateur de la magie du vide. Afin de montrer au monde que les porteurs de cette magie rare et puissante sont unis sous une même bannière, celui-ci demande à Louise et Tiffania de jouer le rôle de 2 de ses servantes lors de la venue de personnalités importantes quelques jours plus tard. Sans hésiter, Louise accepte la mission.
