Recently widowed estate agent Val Spencer's hopes of a big sale are interrupted when the house owner disappears and she becomes embroiled in a murder hunt.

After their plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean after a storm a group of people scramble to a tropical island. At first the place seems home to palm trees and exotic wildlife but on the discovery of a disused military base they find out the island poses a severe threat to them

A woman escapes from the man who is about to rape her, but leaves her purse behind. Afraid that her attacker might come after her, she goes to the police, but with no proof of the incident, they can do nothing. In fact, the man does use the information in her bag and comes to her apartment with the intent of rape, but she sprays him in the face with insect repellent, and then holds him captive. She is then faced with deciding whether to go to the police who might not believe her and release him, or to kill him.

Annie marries Jack Westford, a cop when they met. Six years later, Jack is now working as a security guard in a bank and feels that he was unfairly fired from the force. He also appears to be no longer interested in Annie and has an affair with another bank employee. Among his duties is delivering old money for disposal. He comes up with a plan to steal the money and run away. Part of his plan is to fake his death and frame Annie. While the police suspect that she killed Jack and knows where the money is, there's also an insurance investigator on her back.

When terrorists start killing scientists who are working on NATO's laser defense program, an elite team, the Counter Assault Tactical (C.A.T.) Squad, is brought in to stop the killers.

T, as most of his friends, lives in a self-constructed 'house', built on top of an old building in the city. Their one passion is 'combat'. Combat is a dance/streetfight during which the contestants try to push each other out of the arena, while not allowed to actually touch each other. When drugdealers move into the neighbourhood and kill T's best friend he embarks on a mission to eradicate the drug-presence in the neigbourhood. His friends are reluctant to help though, knowing what happened to T's friend when he crossed them.
