该剧为TVB四十三周年台庆剧，也是2010年节目巡礼剧集之一。
故事以三十年代的广州为背景。郑九妹（邓萃雯 饰）是广州最大黑道势力的郑朗军（岳华 饰）的大女儿，打理家族鸦片生意。局势动荡，日军大举侵华，大佐向山铁也（金刚 饰）利用鸦片生意赚取大量军费及蚕食中国人身心，与九妹继续开设鸦片烟馆，九妹被视为汉奸，而她所做的一切背后另有目的……

After his mother's death, Chan Kai-yuk feels so alone that he leaves Guangzhou for Hong Kong to look up the father who abandoned him and his mom. But Yuk's hopes are dashed on finding his dad has a new family and considers him a burden. Alone and homeless, Yuk is taken in by Auntie Fen, a middle-aged recluse who leads a solitary existence. At first, their different habits and personalities lead to numerous squabbles, intensified by Yuk's self-centeredness and Fen's odd temperament. As time goes on, Yuk learns Fen is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. The discovery unexpectedly serves as a catalyst for the young man's growth as a caring friend. For the first time in her life, Fen feels truly blessed. But it is a situation rife with irony due to the nature of her disease and the accelerating elusiveness of feelings and memories.

小龙（释小龙 饰）被师父派下山寻找佛缘，第一次来到大城市的他，不幸与师兄失散。还好遇到了流浪儿肥虫（郝邵文 饰），才不至于挨饿受冻。肥虫见小龙武功高强，便决定追随他。随后二人又碰到了英雄救美的古董爱好者一山（元彪 饰），一山被小龙的执着精神打动，决定帮助他一起寻找佛缘。
原来一山的兄弟（徐锦江 饰）正是某个倒卖文物团伙的头目，而他们正在倒卖的，正是小龙师父的寺院丢失了的佛首，小龙三人得知后，便和被一山救下的少女小萱（徐若瑄 饰），一起踏上了寻回佛首之路……

To save the Hong Kong Police Force's Banshee Squad from becoming defunct, the struggling new squad members seek the help of former officers Amy (Sandra Ng), now a divorced mom with a young kid, and May (Kara Hui), now partially mentally-unstable, to help them with their training regiment, lead by Madame Yang (Cynthia Khan). Their police skills are put to the test when they are ordered to nab a band of brutal thugs in the city.

Four new Banshee Squad Members join the Hong Kong Police Academy to undergo training supervised by Madam Wu. Their personalities don't click with the current Squad Members, resulting in petty arguments and duels. However, they later make peace with one another as they join the Tiger Squad Members, supervised by Inspector Kan, to undergo new training courses together and combine forces to take down a band of terrorists.

Inspector Kan, now married to Madame Wu, has been instructed to train the Banshee Squad Members after Madame Wu goes into semi-retirement. For their next mission, the Squad is assigned to go undercover into a Casino Ship to nab a group of thieves responsible for stolen law enforcement and military weapons.

铁甲无敌奖门人》是无线电视翡翠台推出的高收视爆笑综艺节目，吸引了周日晚高收视30点以上。由曾志伟、钱嘉乐、阮兆祥、王祖蓝等主持。每期节目均邀请TVB一些著名艺人来参加，做游戏，极度搞笑。香港无线电视台（TVB）综艺节目《奖门人》系列因为环节设置很具娱乐性，再加上曾志伟等主持人鬼马的主持方式，成为金牌娱乐节目之一。自从2006年《超级无敌奖门人》播出后节目一直在休整。而在2008年，新一辑《铁甲无敌奖门人》已经录制完成，开始与观众见面。

Government official Ling Choi Sin journeys to the parched Black Mountain Village, to help its inhabitants find water. As he leads a group of volunteers up the haunted mountain, he encounters a bevy of sexy demons as well as a lovely girl named Siu Sin. After wooing her with some candy, he falls for her... and then realises that he is caught in a deadly triangle; another guy, a demon-hunter named Yan Chek Ha is also in love with Siu Sin. However, before the two men can settle their differences, they have to contend with the evil Tree Demon as well as a one-armed demon hunter who is determined to kill all the supernatural beings.

In “82 Tenants” the widow Zhang and Bing, her new young consort, want to sell an apartment house to a property developer but old man Zhang's will provided that the current tenants can stay there as long as they want or the building survives. So it is clear who the villains are—joining the greedy couple is Chao who has purchased all the land around the building but needs this final piece so he can know everything down and build a money spinning edifice. One the other side are the tenants, a disparate group whose grudgingly and occasionally antagonistically shared communal life, while not ideal, is certainly better than not having a place to live.

A bungling gang of criminal mercenaries arrives from the Chinese mainland on a mission for a mysterious evil mastermind, only to discover that their shady new employer has set them all up for a fall.
