In a small Tokyo apartment, twelve-year-old Akira must care for his younger siblings after their mother leaves them and shows no sign of returning.

There is an unusual tavern named "Nobu" in Kyoto. It is linked to Aiteria, an ancient Europe-like city from another world. The tavern is operated by chef Yazawa Nobuyuki and waitress Senke Shinobu.
