La verdadera historia comienza en el episodio 6 de la serie cuando Yūsuke recibe su primer caso: capturar a los 3 bandidos más peligrosos del Makai: Kurama, Hiei y Gouki. La primera parte finaliza con el rescate de la Koorime Yukina (quien en realidad es la hermana de Hiei sólo que éste no se lo dice).

Munich, Germany, 1923. Two years have passed since Edward Elric was dragged from his own world to ours, leaving behind his country, his friends and his younger brother, Alphonse. Powerful, avaricious sorceress Lina Inverse travels around the world, stealing treasures from bandits who cross her path. Her latest victims, a band of thieves, wait in ambush in a forest, thirsting for revenge. When Lina is about to effortlessly pummel her would-be attackers, the swordsman Gourry Gabriev suddenly announces his presence. Assuming Lina to be a damsel in distress, the foolish yet magnanimous man confronts the brigands in order to rescue her. After defeating them posthaste, the oblivious cavalier decides to escort Lina to Atlas City. Though not very keen on this idea, she ends up accepting his offer.

However, without realizing it, Lina has chanced upon a mighty magical item among her most recent spoils. Now two mysterious men are hunting the young magician and her self-proclaimed guardian to obtain this powerful object for apparently nefarious purposes. This way they begin their adventure, one where the fate of the world itself may be at stake.

Follows the exploits of the young sorceress Lina Inverse, whose life revolves around food, treasure, and fighting. After stealing treasure from a group of bandits, Lina is accosted by stragglers during her journey to the next town. She's not in any real danger, but a dim-witted but good-natured swordsman named Gourry Gabriev springs to her rescue anyways. The two team up, and head to Atlas City, fighting foes they encounter on the way. Unbeknownst to them, two mysterious figures are hot on their tail, and they are especially interested in the “treasure” Lina and Gourry have stolen.

As police inspector Yamato Kansuke pursues a certain man in the snowy mountains of Nagano, a shadow suddenly appears in his field of vision. While he's distracted, a rifle bullet fired by someone grazes his left eye and causes an avalanche accompanied by a roar. Ten months later, Kansuke, having miraculously survived the avalanche, receives a report that a researcher at the Nobeyama National Astronomical Observatory has been attacked.

《烈车战队特急者》（日语：烈车戦队トッキュウジャー），为日本东映公司在2014年推出的超级战队系列第38部作品，2014年2月16日起每周日早上07:30在朝日电视台播出，同时也是超级战队史上继1989年的《高速战队涡轮连者》、1996年的《激走战队车连者》和2008年 的《炎神战队轰音者》之后，东映第四次以交通工具为主题的战队，此次的主题首次为列车，最初编组成员为三男二女组合，颜色配对再次恢复为红、蓝、黄、绿、粉，同时也是唯一一支第六位队员是橙色的战队。

本片根据日本漫画家藤子F不二雄的长篇同名漫画改编。

以前地球是充滿了夢想之國的地方，可是人們逐漸的失去了夢想，夢想之國就漸漸的遠離了地球，後來由留在天空的夢想之國菲拉那瑟將公主明琪桃子送到地球上希望讓人類再次充滿夢想。但是失敗了！菲拉那瑟也逐漸的遠離了地球，因此菲拉那瑟的國王要求最後一個仍然留存在海底深處的馬林那瑟國王幫忙。馬林那瑟的國王趁著一千四百四十四年才一次的星雲直列的日子裡將他的公主明琪桃子以及她的寵物布克、恰克、露比比也送到了地面，但是因為出了意外讓她的魔法全部喪失了，只剩下變成大人的魔法而已！歷盡千辛萬苦明琪的桃子終於安全的來到了沒有夫婦的家庭中。

《REVIVAL》的第一部分：「DEATH (TRUE)2」原先是作為《死與新生》的一部分推出。其中《死與新生》分為兩個部分：「DEATH」篇和「REBIRTH」篇。「DEATH」篇是60分鐘的電視動畫修正版，包括了重新製作的鏡頭和一些新鏡頭。「REVIVAL」所採用的版本，稱為「DEATH (TRUE)2」，是對「DEATH」的重新剪輯，去除《死與新生》的「DEATH」篇中的新鏡頭並且作一些小修改。作品的第二部分「REBIRTH」包括了《THE END OF EVANGELION》的第一部分，因此是《THE END OF EVANGELION》早期未完成的版本。

《REVIVAL》的第二部分“Air/まごころ、君に”，即為劇場版「THE END OF EVANGELION」。
