火星開拓作業のためにサイボーグとなった者たちが、自らを「メガノイド」と称して人類に対し反乱を起こした。メガノイドを生み出してしまった破嵐創造博士の息子である破嵐万丈は、巨大ロボット「ダイターン3」と大量の金塊を奪取して地球に脱出した。
万丈は金塊を元手にシン・ザ・シティに居を構え、執事ギャリソンとパートナーのビューティーと共に、メガノイドの人類支配阻止のために立ち上がる。

日本怪談選集系列《怪談餐館（暫譯，怪談レストラン）》將被製作成電視動畫，並預定於今年 10 月開始播映。自 1996 年開始發行的《怪談餐館》是由日本兒童文學作家 松谷美代子擔任主編，以「恐怖但是有趣」的作品為主題，將日本的民間傳說、校園以及世界怪談編輯成冊，至 2007 年為止就出版了 50 集，受到許多中、小學生的喜愛。
而因為作品以「餐館」為主題，因此每集的動畫都將分為「前菜」、「主菜」以及「甜點」三段故事來播放，作品以小學六年級的「大空 AKO（アコ）」為主角，描述他與身旁的朋友所遇到的各種奇妙事情。

龙珠Z（日文：ドラゴンボールZ，英文：DRAGON BALL Z）是指日本漫画家鸟山明的漫画《七龙珠》第195篇-第519篇，因为这期间鸟山明的漫画风格转为超激战，而且故事也和前194篇风格没有太大变化，因此由东映动画公司改编成为独立的动画片。题目中的"Z"代表着ZENKAI(日文"全开")之意。龙珠Z故事发生于《龙珠》后五年的世界，讲述孙悟空和同伴保卫地球的故事。
