The Digital Accident Tactics Squad (DATS) is a government organization that consists members for the team, including Marcus Damon, Agumon, Thomas H. Norstein, Gaomon, Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda, Lalamon, Keenan Crier and Falcomon. The organization sends any Digimon back to the Digital World.

Marcus learns that Merukimon is opposing mankind. However, the past is revealed that scientist Akihiro Kurata was responsible for invading the Digital World. Kurata gained the support of the government about opposing all Digimon species, claiming they were a threat to mankind. Kurata frees and awakens Belphemon, one of the Seven Great Demon Lords. When he merges with him, Marcus defeats them. Before dying, Kurata uses a bomb to make the Digital World merging with the human world. While BanchoLeomon prevents the collision, he asks Marcus to stop King Drasil (Yggdrasil), the supreme ruler who attempts to protect the Digital World by destroying mankind, since they cannot exist in both dimensions. Marcus realizes that his father, Spencer, was trapped in the Digital World for ten years, because Drasil possessed Spencer's body and BanchoLeomon kept the latter's soul. After Marcus destroys Drasil, Spencer's soul returns to his body.

With both worlds restored, all Digimon partners return to their own world. Five years later, Marcus and his friends embrace their future.

托玛发现日本的数码事件频率增加并非偶然，因此请假回到欧洲调查，发现根源来自于人类的七宗罪。而比丘兽的事情让大他们知道了其幕后黑手是究极体数码兽——墨丘利兽搞的鬼，也因此决定动身前往数码世界。而在数码世界，他们见到了一个人类小孩——郁人，他自称数码兽，对人类怀有怨恨。
历经艰难以后和汤岛老人会合并见到了墨丘利兽，墨丘利兽指责人类没有遵守约定，严重干扰了数码世界的秩序，对数码兽实施残酷的杀戮，然而汤岛却一再强调人类什么事情都没有做。最后谈判破裂，汤岛一面努力制造混乱局面，一面把大一行人送回了人类世界
，自己却留在了数码世界。回到人类世界的大家决定去见见郁人的父母。
在见到郁人的父母后，郁人拒绝承认自己人类的身份，在大的开导下，他才准备融入这个家庭，并希望回到数码世界，跟墨丘利兽告别。然而等待他们的，却是墨丘利兽的死亡，而杀死它的，就是曾经和大的父亲，郁人的父母以及汤岛、萨摩一同前往过数码世界的仓田。最后，大门大为DATS中唯一一位留在数码世界者。@yakutv.cc

在遥远的未来，一班时间罪犯进行非法行为使历史也被错乱修改，所以地球也成立了公共机关“时间保护局”，来监视这些非法篡改历史的罪犯，并将他们用“冷冻压缩”的刑罚绳之以法，这时“时间保护局”收到报告，在隆德监狱所有罪犯的手下假扮成守护者，趁被冷冻之际，则趁机杀害所有的时间守护者，然后将隆德监狱据为己有，并组成了犯罪集团“洗钱帮”引诱时光机器进行时光旅行，时间设定为来到公元2000年的日本。
四位来自公元3000年的时间守护局成员优理、土门、绫濑、席恩，为追捕逃走的时间罪犯唐‧多尼洛与其“洗钱帮”的党羽，与时间保护局战队队长龙也（リュウヤ）[1]来到一千年前的二十世纪，但原来眼前的龙也队长竟是洗钱帮的莉拉（リラ）所假扮，加上时光机受到破坏暂时回不了未来世界，洗钱帮也开始为了金钱四处作恶，但是手上的五个时间变身器“Chrono Changer（クロノチェンジャー!）”启用时必须要有五名使用者同时起动，所以四人将误打误撞来到时光机坠毁的海滩，与龙也长相一模一样的20世纪人浅见竜也拉进阵容中，开始了时连者逮捕洗钱帮归案的战斗。
其后浅见竜也为了摆脱家族带来的困扰而离家，与四位未来人在东京都品川区的一个房子住下来，成为时连者的基地，又因脱离家族没有经济来源，所以成立了“TOMORROW RESEARCH”，开始做起万事通（替委托人承担各类工作）的生意。后来又出现了新的机器人与变身器，加上竜也的旧友泷泽直人，也成了拥有与时连者同等力量的竞争对手。
但随着局势发展，竜也他们渐渐发现原来打从一开始，就有意想不到的阴谋正在酝酿……

在未来世纪（Future Century，F.C.）由于地球严重被污染，人类移往宇宙殖民星，建立了新中国、新日本、新美国等殖民星国。各国在地球虽然还存有领土，但已受到严重的忽视。
为了避免战争，各国决定以一场高达擂台赛(Gundam Fight，高达武斗)来决定各殖民星国对地球的统治权。比赛每四年一度，以地球为擂台，每个国家（殖民星）派出一位代表参赛，一对一以高达对战，直至只有一名胜利者。胜利者所属国家可擭得各殖民星国及地球管理权四年，直至另一个国家在下一次高达对决获胜。
而活在地球上的居民，便要忍受在各国代表在对战时所造成的破坏。
故事发生在未来世纪六十年开始，当时正开始第十三届高达擂台赛。故事的主角，来自新日本的code error!，为了追寻盗去以DG细胞三大理论，自我增殖、自我再生、自我进化设计出来的code error!(Devil Gundam)的兄长，决定参加这一次的高达对决，故事就此展开。

The film begins with around Agumon, Gaomon and Lalamon, whose partners have been placed in a magical slumber along with the rest of city's population, by a mysterious thorned vine that spread throughout the city. As the Digimon make their way through the silent city, they stumble upon a pack of Goblimon, led by an Ogremon, who are attacking a young girl. They scare off the goblins, and the girl, Rhythm, reveals that she is actually a Digimon, then explains that the thorns are the work of a Digimon named Argomon. The quartet sets out to confront the villain atop his skyscraper lair.

One day, Mana Aida receives a wedding dress from her mother and grandmother that they had worn in the past. While thinking about who she would wear this beside someday, a mysterious man named Marsh appears, and Mana is thrown back into the past. She was happy to see her grandmother she loved and her old dog Maro, but she then realizes that Alice and Rikka aren't there because memories have been altered. In order to save precious memories, the future, dreams and hope, Mana transforms into Cure Heart.
