Saint Tail is a phantom thief magical girl manga and anime series. Originally a twenty-four part manga by Megumi Tachikawa, the story was adapted into an anime television series by producer Tokyo Movie Shinsha, with forty-three episodes and one short, broadcast by ABC. Tokyopop translated the manga series, and subtitled and partially dubbed the anime series.

Video Games were released for the Sega Saturn and Sega Game Gear in Japan, and are considered collectors items by Saint Tail fans.

The Tokyopop book summary states that it is "Robin Hood meets Sailor Moon!"

Shibuya Yuuri, an ordinary high school boy got flushed in a toilet and he saw himself in another world. He was then declared as the 27th maou or the demon king of the Demon world by Gunter von Christ and Konrad Weller . When Yuuri now travels back to his new home (the castle), he meet up with Konrad's brothers. Wolfram von Biefield became Yuuri's fiancee when Yuuri slapped him for defending his mother's name. 圣杯：传说中可实现持有者一切愿望的宝物。而为了得到圣杯的仪式就被称为圣杯戦争。
参加圣杯戦争的7名由圣杯选出的魔术师被称为御主（マスター，英文Master），与7名被称为从者（サーヴァント，英文Servant）的使魔订定契约。他们是由圣杯选择的七位英灵，被分为七个职阶，以使魔的身份被召唤出来。
七种职业分别为：
剑兵（セイバー，Saber），使用剑为主武器的英灵
枪兵（ランサー，Lancer），使用枪为主武器的英灵
弓兵（アーチャー，Archer），以弓箭为主武器的英灵

圣杯承认的使用者只有一个，御主（Master）一定得与七种职业的从者（Servant）之一立下契约，证明自己是有资格拥有圣杯的人。《Fate/Zero》，2006年12月29日由TYPE-MOON与Nitro+合作发售的小说。为《Fate/stay night》的前传，以描述第四次圣杯之战为主，故事原著《Fate/stay night》则为第五次圣杯之战。

为了获得圣杯能实现奇迹的法力，七个魔术士召唤出七人的英灵，展开了一场直到剩下最后一个人为止的终极战争----圣杯战争。

1996年11月30日公開。全国松竹系劇場にて上映。出崎統監督作品。OVAシリーズの流れを汲む作品で、原作にはない劇場用オリジナルストーリーとして製作したもの。音楽はOVA版KARTE6より参加した川村栄二が担当、主題歌は山根麻衣『Invisible Love』。本作最大の特徴は、キャラクターも含めた作品そのものの米国風のデザインや、患者が血を吐くシーンや頭をぶつけるシーンなどに使われた、サーモグラフィー切り替えによる演出などである。当時の最新の技術を極限まで用いた演出と、出崎監督特有の「ハーモニー」や「陰影」、「入射光」などもあり、人間の「生死」や「苦悩」をリアルに演出している。なお、2005年末、手塚眞監督によって再び映画化された作品がブラック・ジャック ふたりの黒い医者であるが、内容は本作とは全くの別物。なお、前述の2005年度に公開された映画の予告に於いて「初の映画化」と謳っているうえ、一般的なイメージとしてはこちらの映画の方が強いために、本作のイメージは薄れつつある（※公式サイトの豆知識にメディア化作品が記載されているこの作品もそれに記載されているため否定しているわけではない）。ただしDVDレンタルはされているため見ることができる。セルDVDでの発売もされているが、こちらは在庫切れが相次いで入手困難の状況にある。
公開当年の1996年の12月、秋田書店からフィルムコミックが発売されている。全2巻。（1巻：ISBN 4-253-17328-4、2巻：ISBN 4-253-17329-2）
1999年末、よみうりテレビ･日本テレビ系列にて地上波TV放送された。
2008年12月31日（23時45分 - 25時30分）TOKYO MXにての地上波局としては異例の、年を跨いでのアニメ作品放映という形で実施された。

《攻壳机动队SAC 2nd GIG》是根据士郎正宗漫画原作改编的第二季日本动画影集。
2004年1月1日于日本SKY电视播映。每集制作费高达3000万日元。
共26话。
故事内容延续第一部TV版攻壳机动队STAND ALONE COMPLEX的剧情继续发展。但TV版的2部作品与剧场版无甚联系，可以看做是两个平行世界里发生的事情。
这次TV版第2季的制作班底与第一部相同，同时剧情表达上和第一季一样，每话由不同故事构成，各自独立成章，却贯穿着同一条主线。在剧情上同时电影版导演押井守也参与了协力，不过电影版中凄凉的气氛没有在TV版第二季中体现。

The story takes place in the year 2034, two years after the events in Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG.
