Un soir, le jeune homme découvre parmi un tas d'ordures un "persocom" abandonné à l'apparence d'une belle jeune fille. Fasciné, il décide de le ramener chez lui et l'active… Ce persocom ne fait que répéter les mêmes gestes, et ne sait dire que "Chii". Hideki la surnomme ainsi, et petit à petit lui apprend à parler.
