This movie stars Peter Chen Ho as a male teacher in an all girls school. The girls are teens and, since they live there, are kind of tickled to see a male teacher. They don't particularly lust after him, but they kind of crush on him. The title of the film refers to a baby that Chen minded as a favor in a doctor's office, only to find the mother left him with Chen. Chen has to take care of the baby and, inevitably, has to bring him to school and hide him, as he lives there also.

Two sisters, Ching-ping (Irene Chen I-ling) and Pai-hung (Betty Ting Pei) struggle to find a workable act after their magician father and younger sister leave to try their luck in Taiwan. A good friend gets them cast in a new movie, and the rest is history....

In the vein of "Romeo And Juliet", Hong Kong style, the small ensemble cast and little-known director Michihko do a big league job with their rendition of "Romeo And Juliet" in "The Young Lovers". Although poor boy (Derek Erh Tung-Sheng) and rich girl (Yu An-An) are from opposite ends of the spectrum, their undying love refuses to let anyone get in their way, including their parents. Shakespeare would be moved.

This is a film about the movie industry, about favors, hooking up etc. It is mostly set in Copenhagen and the story begins with the son of a big producer going to Copenhagen from Hong Kong trying to seal a deal. He gets involved with the Denmark girls.

As symbol for his gratitude, Yu Quan bestows Feng Lian with a Butterfly Chalice to reflect their eternal friendship bond...
