Prosecutor Kohei Kuryu takes charge of a case with a foreign embassy possessing the key to solve the case. Due to the extraterritoriality involving the case, the investigation has not gone anywhere. 本剧为晨间剧第113作，以松江没落士族之女小泉节子与其欧洲人丈夫小泉八云为原型，讲述了主人公松野时与丈夫两人都热爱“怪谈”，因此以夫妇两人的名义讲述和编写，为在明治时代急速西化的日本中被埋葬的无名之辈的心灵故事注入了光芒。

原计划前往富良野的青年编剧竹山纯（冈田将生 饰），他所乘坐的巴士不巧因为暴雪而被困在半路上。万般无奈之下，他下了车找地方投宿，几经辗转来到了一间小酒馆，然后莫名其妙和正举行联欢派对的陌生人们一夜狂欢。次日一早，喝到断片的纯在某间山中小屋醒来，随之见到了在居酒屋有过一面之缘的松井英夫（铃木浩介 饰）和梅本聪一（远藤宪一 饰）两个怪人。松井酷爱画画，而梅本则有过三次失败的婚姻，后者也一度将纯错认为自己的儿子。
失去随身行李和电话的纯无法与外界取得联系，加上大雪封山，他被迫和这两位怪大叔以及当地性格各异的人们共同度过了一段诡异而有趣的时光……

『3番テーブルの客』（さんばんテーブルのきゃく）は、フジテレビ・共同テレビ製作の1996年に放送された深夜ドラマ。
「古畑任三郎」や「王様のレストラン」で知られる脚本家の三谷幸喜による書き下ろしの脚本を、毎回違ったスタッフキャストで制作するという番組。
冒頭の「台本が同じなら同じ作品が出来上がると思うならあなたはドラマを知らない」のナレーション通り、演出によって作品の雰囲気が変わるということがよく解る作品となっており、演出家を目指す者には打って付けのドラマである。実際、話の筋は全て同じなので退屈な物に思えそうだが、キャスティング、小道具など、どの回も様々な演出家の個性が溢れており、飽きさせない作りになっている。
第1回は三谷作品をもっとも多く演出している河野圭太が担当、以後「世にも奇妙な物語」や「笑の大学」で知られる星護や「マルサの女」の伊丹十三、とんねるずの木梨憲武などが参加した。
また、放送前に2回にわたり「監督とは?」概論編、実践編が放送され1997年1月4日には「3番テーブルのもう1人の客」というスペシャル番組も放送された。

田村正和が比嘉爱未に见とれていた!?　松本清张ドラマ「球形の荒野」制作発表で告白
11月26日（金）、27日（土）にフジテレビ系で放送されるドラマ「2夜连続　松本清张スペシャル『球形の荒野』」の制作発表会见が10月25日、都内で行われ、出演する田村正和、江口洋介、比嘉爱未、脚本を手挂けた君冢良一氏、永山耕三监督が出席した。
同作は、松本清张の长编ミステリーを2夜连続で映像化した大型ドラマ。ある杀人事件の捜査线上に、戦时中に死んだはずの外交官・野上（田村）が浮かび、刑事の铃木（江口）と添田（生田斗真）が野上の娘・久美子（比嘉）らから事件の真相を探っていく。
主演を务める田村は「重い、暗い、寂しい、この上ない孤独な世界に生きてきた男を、昭和初期を思い起こさせる背景で演じてきました。野上の日本に対する爱、家族に対する爱を见ていただけたらと思います」と力强く语った。
また、共演者の印象については「江口さんとは4～5年前『古畑任三郎』でご一绪して以来ですが、テレビで见ていて、しっかりした俳优さんになっておられるなという印象です。生田さんとは今回初めてだったんですが、大変グッドルッキングで、これから楽しみな俳优さんだなと思いました。比嘉さんとはあまりご一绪するシーンがなかったんだけど、远くから、きれいな人だなと见とれていました」と话し、会场の笑いを诱っていた。
また、会见に出席できなかった生田からもコメントが届き、「田村正和さんに初めてお会いした时、あまりの色気に心臓がばくばく音を立てていました。现场でお会いする度に気さくに声を挂けていただいたことが力になりました」と伝えていた。
この脚本を书き上げるのに5kgもやせたという君冢氏は「ミステリーとしてのエンターテインメント性、そして太平洋戦争への原作者の强いメッセージを含めた作品に仕上がったと思います。ミステリー作品として事件の犯人は谁かと追いかけてもらいながら、その底にある平和への祈りを感じていただけると幸いです」と力强くアピールした。
