这个怪谈故事被鹤屋南北写成剧本搬上戏台，阿岩的诅咒将一直延续下去……

《地狱少女》（日文《じごくしょうじょ》）是日本动画、漫画及电视剧。动画于2005年10月开始播出，全26集，具有神秘恐怖风格。其漫画则同时在讲谈社月刊《Nakayoshi（なかよし）》上连载，作者为永远幸。2006年10月7日起，在每日放送、Animax 以及东京MX电视台等播映第二季动画，名为《地狱少女二笼》，全26集，2007年4月7日完结。此外在2006年11月4日，在日本电视台播映真人出演的电视剧版本，在2006年11月4日至2007年1 月27日于日本电视台及静冈第一电视台的“黄金之舌”时段内播放，全12集。2007年12月28日发表决定制作第三季动画，标题继承了【二笼】的诡异风格被命为《地狱少女 三鼎》。

《化猫》：一个奇怪的卖药郎来到一个大户人家推销药品，得知这户人家的新娘在出嫁前意外死亡。原来这是“化猫”的报复。妖怪的形成，是由人类的种种因缘引起的；要拔剑消灭妖怪，必须要有“形、实、理”。于是，20年前一桩悲剧被重新提起……
