圣杯：传说中可实现持有者一切愿望的宝物。而为了得到圣杯的仪式就被称为圣杯戦争。
参加圣杯戦争的7名由圣杯选出的魔术师被称为御主（マスター，英文Master），与7名被称为从者（サーヴァント，英文Servant）的使魔订定契约。他们是由圣杯选择的七位英灵，被分为七个职阶，以使魔的身份被召唤出来。
七种职业分别为：

为了获得圣杯能实现奇迹的法力，七个魔术士召唤出七人的英灵，展开了一场直到剩下最后一个人为止的终极战争----圣杯战争。

Misaki Ayuzawa is the first female student council president at a once all-boys school turned co-ed. She rules the school with strict discipline demeanor.
