Chow Yun Fat leaves his buddies Eric Tsang, Stanley Fung, and Nat Chan Bak Cheung to their own devices, so the first thing the trio do is get taken hostage in a bank robbery! The trio makes it onto TV, which equals instant celebrity, but the big station in town won't give them a job. Enter Andy Lau, who gives the guys their own talk show on a rival station, where they beat up their guests for being annoying. Meanwhile, a trio of comely females (including Elizabeth Lee and Carina Lau) move in next door, and the chase is on!

Nurse Liang Shanbo and Actress Zhu Yingtai are mismatched cousins who just inherited a rental home from their late relative. Wong Jing wrote and directed this film, he also co-stars as a shady and bumbling individual who's forced to confront the people who have maimed his best friend and killed the poor guys family. They've also made his life extremely miserable. Danny Lee plays a cop who's job is to protect Wong Jing from a gang of sadistic gangsters. As in all of Wong Jing films, the villains are just plain rotten and they love to hurt and kill people.

Chi Mo Sai (Yuen Wah) meets Wong (Roger Kwok) in Auntie Fei's (Yuen Qiu) cafe and learns that Wong has photographic memory. He decides to exploit this skill by teaching Wong how to play Mahjong, but Fei, Wong's boss, strongly objects to it. Despite Fei's objections, Wong learns Mahjong from compulsive gambler Chi Mo Sai. He impresses triad boss Tin Kau Ko (Wong Jing). Wong falls in love with Tin's mistress (Theresa Fu) and is beaten by Tin's men. Wong then becomes crazy. Luckily, Fei cured him using Mahjong. Fei wanted Wong to beat Tin in the "King of Mahjong" competition and be the King of Mahjong. The film ends with a climactic "King of Mahjong" Competition. It is the only film made in 2005 to boast of having a sequel made in 2005.

Three love-challenged men meet a radio host who tutors them in the art of picking up women in a variety of unconventional ways in Wong Jing's gleefully crude and tasteless comedy.

The film focuses on the protagonist Bill (played by Leon Lai) and his three emotional entanglements with Mei Sui (played by Carina Lau), Xue Er (played by Shu Qi), and the girl next door (played by Ann Lee). It narrates his growth journey from a career low to achieving success and fame. After Mei Sui breaks up with Bill due to her inability to endure an ordinary life, Bill goes to the United States to start a business and becomes successful.
