The story of young ramen chef, who takes ownership of Gantetsu Ramen after the disappearance of his father, determined to train hard to get back at those who led his father going missing.

Toru Tachibana is a police officer who works as a guard at a detention center. He and his colleague Nakano, who lives in a shared room in a bachelor dormitory, are a good pair, joking around with each other. One day, Toru gets his dream job as a detective. He becomes involved in the investigation of a serial theft case, and in the process meets Emiko, who seems to be one of the victims of the theft. Toru develops a personal interest in Emiko, and begins to stalk her.
