清朝初年，朝廷有令民间不得习武，少林寺方丈深知这是清廷视武学发源地的少林寺为肉中刺欲除掉的结果，预感少林寺迟早会遭大劫，决定广收俗家弟子予以栽培，将少林绝学遍布民间，以期造成“野草烧不尽”之势。消息一号，渴望习武的血性男儿纷纷响应，其中以方世玉（傅声）、胡惠干（戚冠军）、洪熙官（韦弘）等人求武之心最诚，终入少林寺大门，与他们一同入寺的，还有胡德帝（姜大卫）、蔡德忠（狄龙）等反清义士。
众人虽为大义而来，各人心里却有不同的小九九，并逐渐归入不同派别。而最终成为正义一方的方世玉与胡德帝等人以少林绝学了却了自己的仇恨后，发觉清兵已对少林寺展开偷袭行动，决意为少林寺赴汤蹈火。

本片为倪匡编剧，何莉莉、李修贤及谷峰领衔主演。故事描述，葛衣情（何莉莉）乃江南越剧戏班台柱，为其母之摇钱树；后葛邂逅了船主舵伯（谷峰）的义子野壮子（李修贤），两情相悦，决意结婚，但葛母故意索取巨额聘礼；舵为促成这段姻缘，借钱给野。可惜戏班到了宁波县城，葛母唯利是图，把女儿许给纨裤子弟；当野找葛问究竟，葛却表明移情别恋；野决定听从舵的劝告，充当其助手，暗中作贩毒勾当……
《江湖行》是现代著名作家徐讦的代表作，文学成就颇高。1973年，这一名著被擅长现代拳脚片的张曾泽（代表作为《路客与刀客》）搬上银幕，故事被大刀阔斧的删繁就简，只保留野壮子（李修贤饰）与长辈舵伯（谷峰饰）的恩怨，以及与名伶葛衣情（何莉莉饰）的恩怨。亦因如此，短短80分钟的影片虽然显得非常紧凑，但野壮子踏入江湖的情感失落只有对葛衣情的负心薄幸有细致的刻画，其余未能细致的展开，显然不及原著来得震撼人心。不过，影片结尾李修贤与谷峰的一场你死我活的打斗戏倒相当精彩，而它的动作设计则是当时还未成名的袁和平（字幕打的是“袁大眼”）和袁祥仁兄弟。
对于李修贤而言，《江湖行》是他最早担纲主演并且引起轰动的作品。当时他刚刚20岁，却已经被张彻领入行三年了。《江湖行》中的男主角由幼稚到反省的心理路程对于一个毛头小子实在有难度，所幸李修贤不负众望，表演出色获得好评，看来日后获得香港金像、台湾金马双料影帝绝非侥幸。

The story of an innocent girl who is destined to become one of the emperor´s concubines. However, her "career" has corrupted her once innocent soul and so, after the emperor dies she rules the land with terror.

Li Bing, a nightclub entertainer and a reformed thief was caught up in a fight against a criminal syndicate after forcing a cohort to return the wallet he previously stole from an assistant of a scientist who has just recently completed a doomsday device.

After avenging the death of his brother, Chen Shen (Bruce Li) returns home from Shanghai. He tells his mother (who went blind from crying over her son's death) that he will no longer fight. However, being a movie with the words "fist" and "fury" in the title, Chen doesn't keep his promise for very long. Japanese occupiers who are aware of Chen's history terrorize his family by, among other things, vandalizing his mother's store and beating up his brother. Later, they frame Chen for a murder. After the Japanese boss arrives in town and causes a ruckus, Chen breaks out of jail for a final confrontation.
