Segundo filme de Ghost in the Shell: Arise. Liberta das suas responsabilidades na Organização 501, Motoko Kusanagi tem agora de aprender a receber ordens de Aramaki. Alguém invade os Logicomas, e Batou recorre à ajuda do ex-oficial de inteligência do exército Ishikawa e do ex-especialista em artilharia aérea Borma.
