In an interview with french magazine L'OBs, Triet confirms she’s been offered to direct the adaptation of Daniel Clowes' graphic novel “Monica," with Cate Blanchett in the title role.
In Clowes’ 2023 novel, which was critically acclaimed, the author blended several different genres into one story, separating them by chapter. “Monica” chronicles the journey of a girl who is in search of her mother and trying to uncover her mysterious past.
