Übersicht
Der alternde Don Michael Corleone möchte den Familienbetrieb legalisieren und sich langsam aus dem Geschäft zurückziehen. Während er sich als Förderer der katholischen Kirche versucht, macht ihm vor allem ein Mensch zu schaffen: Vincent Mancini, Michaels zukünftiger Schwiegersohn und potentieller Nachfolger.
