Age of Empires IV

在 Age of Empires III 发行十二年后，微软于 2017 年 8 月 21 日宣布 Age of Empires IV 的存在，游戏为 Windows 10 独占。由于 Ensemble Studio 已经在 2009 年解散，游戏将由 Relics 工作室制作。从放出的宣传片看，帝国时代 IV 将不像前作只局限在特定的时代，但具体的情况仍不得而知。
