A year after a supermoon’s light activated a dormant gene, transforming humans into bloodthirsty werewolves and causing nearly a billion deaths, the nightmare resurfaces as the supermoon rises again. Pros: Hazmat suits, werewolves and lots of lens flares. Lou Diamond Philips is the president or something. The supermoon thing is a cool silly idea. Has some practical effects. Frank Grillo isn't as douchey as usual. Patriotic preppers aren't cool.

Cons: Do you know those B-movies that have something special? The ones that get to have a little place in your heart? Werewolves isn't one of those.

Thrashing it with a lower star count would make me feel guilty, I think they actually tried, but this is a watch and forget flick.
